Stephanie Ross set an American Southwest Conference record as a sophomore in 2005 when she scored the Comets' first goal of the season just :29 seconds into the season opener against Northwood. Was a key part of the UTD offense in each of her four seasons on the team, often fighting her way through much bigger defenders.

Ross finished her freshman season, playing in 18 games and scoring 4 goals with 2 assists. Had two more goals and an assist in 16 games in 2006, then had 4 goals and 3 assists in 20 games last year, including a game-winner.

Three-time Academic All-Conference team member.

2008: Played in 19 games and finished her senior year with one goal.

HIGH SCHOOL: Ross played four years of HS soccer at The Colony HS and has been playing club soccer for 12 years. She was a member of the Freshman All-District team in 2002 and won an All-District Sportsmanship Award in 2003 before winning all-district honors as a midfielder in her senior season. Was the salutatorian of her graduating class and is attending UTD on an Academic Excellence Scholarship.
