NCAA Softball World Series champion Haley Lee joined the UT Dallas staff as an assistant coach in November 2024. She has the primary responsibility of working with the Comet offense.
In her first season, the Comets went 17-18 while transitioning to NCAA Division II. The team broke the school records for most batters hit by a pitch and walks in a season.Â
Lee won the a national title with the University of Oklahoma in 2023, appearing in 62 games as a catcher, designated player and outfielder. She earned NFCA All-Central Region Second Team, All-Big 12 First Team and Big 12 Championship Most Outstanding Player honors with the Sooners. Lee hit .370 with 14 home runs, 10 doubles and 51 RBI in her final season of collegiate softball.
Prior to her time in Norman, Lee played four seasons at Texas A&M University in College Station where she was a two-time USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year Top 25 Finalist, two-time NFCA All-American, two-time NFCA All-South Region Second Team pick and an All-Southeastern Conference First Team honoree. She hit .365 over 192 games for the Aggies, recording 121 runs, 191 hits, 36 doubles, 47 homers and 130 RBI. Lee also holds the single-season home run record with 25.Â
Lee has played for the Oklahoma City Spark of the Women's Professional Fastpitch and Association of Fastpitch Professionals in 2023, 2024 and 2025.
A native of Kingwood, Texas, Lee was an All-State selection and District MVP for Kingwood High School.
After college, Lee has served as a coach for the Oklahoma Fuel and as a brand associate for Driving Force Sports.Â
Lee earned a bachelors from Texas A&M in 2021 in Sport Management and masters in 2023. She also earned a masters from OU in Adult and Higher Education in 2024.
