Luke Kiser rejoined the Comets as a graduate assistant coach in August 2025.
Kiser, 2024 UT Dallas alumnus in Healthcare Studies, spent three seasons playing for the Comets and recorded 639 points (8.3 per game), 342 rebounds, 350 assists, 144 steals and seven blocked shots over 77 games. He also shot 44.2 percent from the field and 73.6 percent from the free throw line while draining 52 three-pointers. Kiser finished his tenure ranked third in career assists, second in assists per game, third in assist/turnover ratio, fourth in steals and second in steals per game.
He was the 2023-24 American Southwest Conference Defensive Player of the Year while helping the Comets to a conference title and to the second round of the NCAA Division III Championship Tournament. Kiser was a two-time All-ASC selection and the 2021-22 ASC Freshman of the Year. He also earned Academic All-ASC honors three times and was on the ASC Distinguished Scholar-Athlete Team in 2023-24.
Kiser finished his playing career at St. Edward's University in Austin, Texas, where he appeared in 33 games and recorded 87 points, 58 rebounds, 82 assists and 36 steals. He was selected to the NABC Honors Court and played in the NCAA Division II Championship Tournament.
A native of Burnet, Texas, Kiser was a four-time First Team All-District selection for Burnet High School. He was the District MVP, First Team All-Region and Academic All-State as a senior.
Kiser is pursuing his Master's in Business Administration at UTD.
