Box Score RICHARDSON, TX - The UT Dallas men's soccer team knew it was better than its 1-3 start. Losing three tight games to three nationally-ranked teams in your first four games can do that to you.
On Tuesday night, the Comets returned home to play their first game of the season on familiar turf, and took out the frustrations on the visiting Austin College Kangaroos with a dominating 5-0 romp.

Jake Brandon had to make just four saves on the night, but only one was a serious threat to get past him.
UTD got impressive performances from both senior
Kevin White, who scored two goals, and newcomer
Stephen Ambrose who had the first goal at 19:57 off a curving, 30-yard free kick, then assisted on both White goals. Senior
Bruno Alonso (pictured above) escaped up the middle for the team's second goal less than five minutes after Ambrose's game-winner. Freshman
Jonny Nevit capped off the scoring with just six minutes left in the match as UTD Coach
Jack Peel was able to give his freshman class some much-needed playing time.
UTD travels to the University of the Ozarks, last season's regular season American Southwest Conference championships, Saturday to open conference play.
