PINEVILLE, LA (10.18.14) - Six different players scored as the No. 24-ranked UT Dallas women's soccer team cruised to a 6-1 road win over Louisiana College in American Southwest Conference play Saturday afternoon.

The Comets (now 10-2-1, 4-0-1 ASC) will look remain unbeaten in ASC play next week with a pair of home games. UTD will host Howard Payne at 5 p.m. Thursday and then host perennial conference-power Hardin-Simmons at 4 p.m. Saturday for "Senior Day".

Taylor Belcher opened the scoring for the Comets in the 4th minute on a penalty kick, but the host Lady Cats answered in the late in the first half on a goal by Erin Biggs. Millie Atkins knocked in the game winner in the 40th minute to lift the Comets to a 2-1 advantage at halftime. UTD later got second-half goals by Carli Beckett, Sarah Borg, Andrea Guevara and Sofia Quezada.

The Comets finished the match with 19 shots, 13 of which were on goal, while holding host LC to just six shots, five of which were on goal. Eliza Carey led UTD with five shots, four on goal, while Beckett, Guevara, Quezada and Carson Sharp each finished with two shots. Kristi Istre played the full 90 in goal for the Comets, making four saves.
