TYLER, TX (10.04.14) - The UT Dallas volleyball team suffered its third straight defeat Saturday afternoon as the Comets dropped a 3-1 decision at Texas-Tyler in American Southwest Conference play.

The Comets (now 11-7, 5-3 ASC) have now dropped three out of four ASC matches after opening the season 4-0. UTD will look to bounce back Tuesday night at East Texas Baptist at 7 p.m.

For the third straight match, the Comets failed to hit .200 as a team as UTD hit .180 with just two players in double-digit kills in its loss to the Patriots. Meredith Crawford led the pack with 14 kills while Michelle Toro finished with 10 kills. Crawford also led UTD with 11 digs while setter Kayla Jordan ended the match with 39 assists.
