BELTON, TX (11.01.14) - The UT Dallas women's soccer team dropped a disappointing 3-0 decision at Mary Hardin-Baylor Saturday evening in American Southwest Conference.
With the loss, the Comets closed out the regular season with a 12-4-1 overall record and a 6-2-1 mark in ASC play. UTD will enter next weekend's ASC Tournament as the No. 4 seed and face Concordia Texas at 11 a.m. Thursday in Abilene. For full ASC Tournament release, click here.The Comets managed just nine shots in their worst loss of the season, collecting just four shots on goal against UMHB. The loss marked just the second shutout of the Comets this season.

The host Cru opened the scoring in the 16th minute on the first of two goals by Katrhyn Parker. Cameron Shivers added a second first-half goal for UMHB in the 37th minute to lift the Cru to a 2-0 halftime advantage. The Comets had one of their best scoring chances in the final minute of the game when
Carli Beckett's attempt off a
Samantha Huston corner kick, but the shot was blocked by a UMHB defender and the Cru streaked down the field as Parker scored the final goal of the game with just 23 seconds left on the clock.
