CLARKSVILLE, AR (10.22.15) - The UT Dallas women's soccer team had a game-tying goal waved off as time expired in regulation as the Comets had their four-game winning streak snapped with a 2-1 road loss at Ozarks Thursday afternoon in American Southwest Conference play.

After a scoreless first half, the Comets (now 11-6, 5-3 ASC) opened the scoring in the 60th minute as freshman Jacqueline Kaufman scored her team-leading 10th goal of the season to give UTD a 1-0 lead. Kaufman's goal came in front of the Ozarks goal after an entry pass by Melissa Fulfer. However, the Eagles would score two goals late in the second half with the game-winner coming in the 75th minute.

UTD finished the game with 12 shots, seven on goal, with Kaufman, Jessica Rusk and Millie Atkins each finishing with two shots. Monica Dallacasa played the opening half without making a save. Macaire Ament took over after the break and gave up the game-tying goal in the 67th minute. Kristi Istre took over, making two saves and giving up a goal in the final 25 minutes.

The Comets return to action Sunday afternoon as they visit ASC-leading Texas-Tyler. Game time is 2 p.m. in Tyler.
