JACKSON, MS (10.03.15) - The No. 22-ranked UT Dallas volleyball team earned its ninth straight win Saturday afternoon in a 3-0 sweep of Belhaven in non-conference play, 25-21, 25-11, 25-18.

The Comets (now 16-2) play another non-conference game Thursday at the University of Dallas in their only match next week. Game time is 7 p.m. in Irving.

Junior Holyn Handley led the Comets with 10 kills along with 10 digs, an ace and a block as UTD needed little time for the 3-0 victory. Abbie Barth finished with nine kills and 11 digs while Kayla Jordan collected 28 assists, seven digs and six kills.

UTD hit .229 for the match, compared to just .040 by Belhaven (now 7-10), and finished with six total blocks and eight aces.
