RICHARDSON, TX (09.13.15) - After opening the 2015 season with a four straight wins, the UT Dallas women's soccer team has now dropped back-to-back games after falling at home to Lewis & Clark, 2-1, Sunday night.
The Comets (now 4-2) fell behind early, giving up the Pioneers' first goal in the 18th minute and then found themselves down 2-0 in the 59th minute. UTD got on the board in the 68th minute when

UTD managed just 12 shots on the night, three on goal, with Atkins and
Megan Mugavero each collecting two shots. Comet keeper
Monica Dallacasa finished with four saves in a full 90-minute outing.
Lewis & Clark (now 4-0) opened the scoring in the first half on a Megan Ratfield tally, unasisted from 10 yards out. Ratfield added her second goal in the second half, a deflection of a Kylie Carera cross.
The Comets return to action Saturday afternoon when they open American Southwest Conference play at Howard Payne. Game time is 3 p.m. in Brownwood.
