JACKSON, MS (10.27.16) - The UT Dallas men's soccer team had its six-game winning streak come to an end Thursday night with a 3-1 non-conference road loss at Belhaven.

The Comets (now 11-4-1), however secured the American Southwest Conference regular season title outright Thursday thanks to an overtime loss by Mary Hardin-Baylor at Ozarks. UTD will wrap up the regular season Saturday at 12 p.m. at Louisiana College before hosting the ASC Tournament next week.

The host Blazers scored a pair of first-half goals and added a late tally to take a 3-0 lead with just over three minutes left to play. UTD would avoid the shutout with a goal by Jude Anuwe with 48 seconds on the clock, his third of the season.

UTD, playing a number of reserves, managed just three shots on the night with Anuwe's tally the Comets' only shot on on goal. Belhaven took 13 shots, nine of which were on goal.
