PINEVILLE, LA (10.29.16) - The UT Dallas men's soccer team wrapped up their American Southwest Conference regular season title with a 2-0 win at Louisiana College Saturday afternoon in the regular-season finale for both programs.

The Comets (now 12-4-1, 9-0-1 ASC) will now host the ASC Tournament next weekend, earning a first-round by as regular season champions. UTD will open play in the event at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, in the semifinals.

UTD freshman Alfredo Kaegi opened the scoring in the first half with his 13th goal of the season in the 14th minute. The Comets doubled their lead in the 67th minute with a goal by Mason Anderson, assisted by Max Morales De La Fuente.

The Comets ended the match with 26 shots, 13 on goal, while holding host LC without a shot attempt. Kaegi led UTD with six shots while Sam Konstanty took five shots.
