Sophomore Melissa Fulfer accounted for a goal and two assists as UTD scored twice in each period against the Lady Wildcats. Four different Comets recorded a goal as UTD ended the night with 18 shots on goal, one shy of the season high.

Stephanie White opened the scoring in the 14th minute with a left-footer past a diving LC keeper after an assist by Fulfer. Megan Mugavero then added her team-high 10th goal of the year in the 40th minute, assisted by Jadyn Wilson, to lift the Comets to a 2-0 halftime advantage.

The Comets added their third goal in the 46th minute on a goal by Bailee Davis, assisted by both Fulfer and Alyssa Kolvitz, and Fulfer completed the scoring in the 56th minute, thanks to an assist from White.

Fulfer led the Comets with nine shots, six on goal, while Wilson took four shots. Sixteen UTD players recorded at least one shot in the victory.
