SHERMAN, TX (10.04.16) - The No. 9-ranked UT Dallas volleyball team extended its winning streak to nine straight matches Tuesday night with a 3-0 road win over Austin College in non-conference play. The Comets held off Lady 'Roos, 25-22, 25-23, 25-22, at Hughey Gym.
The Comets (now 14-1) return to action Friday night at Belhaven. Match time is 7 p.m. in Jackson, Miss.

Michelle Toro finished with 14 kills to lead four Comets in double digits in the quick victory.
Holyn Handley and
Emma Wallbrown each added 11 kills while
Dylan Brinkman had 10 kills, 12 digs and a match-high four aces.
UTD hit .255 as a team while freshman setter
Caroline Shecterle controlled the Comet offense with 40 assists (13.3 per set).
Abbie Barth had a match-high 14 digs to lead four UTD players in double digits in that category.
