RICHARDSON, TX (10.08.16) - In its final non-conference game of the season, the UT Dallas women's soccer team dropped a 5-0 decision at home Saturday afternoon to No. 3 Trinity.

The Comets (now 7-5) return to action Friday, Oct. 14, when they visit LeTourneau in American Southwest Conference play. Game time is 5 p.m. in Longview.

After holding one of the top offense in NCAA Division III without a shot on goal in the opening half, the Comets soon found themselves in a 2-0 hole early in the second half after a pair of goals by Trinity's Halleanne Dure. The Tigers added three late goals to pull away for the victory.

UTD finished with with just three shots, one on goal, while Comet keeper Monica Dallacasa made six saves in a full 90-minute performance.
