PINEVILLE, LA (09.16.17) - The No. 13-ranked UT Dallas volleyball team improved to 2-1 in American Southwest Conference play Saturday afternoon with a road sweep of first-year program Louisiana College.
The Comets hit .329 as a team as they rolled to the 25-14, 25-18, 25-11, quick win over the host Wildcats that lasted just under 75 minutes. Freshman
Madeleine McCall led a balanced UTD attack with nine kills and a pair of blocks. The Comets held LC to just a .080 team hitting percetnage.
KEY PLAYERS:
After McCall's nine kills,
Emma Wallbrown and
Lauren Schilling each had six kills while
Sydney Riordan and
Amy Kunz both finished with five kills.
Setter
Caroline Shecterle ended the short match with 29 assists (9.7 per set) and Riordan added a team-high 10 digs.
