RICHARDSON, TX (10.11.19) - Just hours after matching a school record for hitting percentage, the UT Dallas volleyball team picked up its second sweep of the day after a 3-0 win over Centenary in non-conference play Friday night.
With the program's 12th consecutive victory, the Comets improved to 15-3 overall and will return to American Southwest Conference play Saturday afternoon when they host East Texas Baptist for "Senior Day". Match time is 2 p.m. at the UTD Activity Center.

Jillian Via sparked the Comet offense against Centenary, finishing with a match-high 13 kills, along with 12 digs and four aces, hitting .323.
Catherine Croft added 10 kills while
Lauren Schilling had eight kills and a pair of blocks. The Comets hit .266 as a team adn finished with 10 service aces.
Via had four kills and four digs in the first set as the Comets claimed a 25-14 win over the Ladies to open the match.
Madison Ball would lead UTD with four kills in a 25-12 victory over Centenary in the second set. Via closed the sweep with a seven-kill performance in the third set.
