PINEVILLE, LA (11.02.19) - Senior Jillian Via had six aces as the UT Dallas volleyball team closed out the regular season Saturday afternoon with a 3-0 road win over Louisiana College in American Southwest Conference play.

With the win, the Comets wrapped up regular-season play with a 22-4 overall record and finished atop the ASC East standings with a 13-1 league mark. UTD will host the ASC Tournament next weekend, starting Thursday. After an opening-round bye, the Comets will begin the postseason at 5 p.m. Friday in the semifinal round of the six-team event.

The Comets collected 10 service aces as a team, matching the squad's season high in a sweep. UTD hit .286 and averaged nearly 14 digs per set.

Allison Owen led the squad with eight kill along with a .700 hitting percentage, making just one error in 10 swings. Madeleine McCall added five kills.
