MEMPHIS, TN (09.21.19) - The UT Dallas women's soccer team scored once in each half as the Comets shut out host Rhodes, 2-0, Saturday afternoon in non-conference play.
With the win, the Comets improved to 7-0 on the young season and will open American Southwest Conference play Thursday, Sept. 26, at Howard Payne in Brownwood.

Rana Hussein opened the scoring in the 20th minute thanks to an assist from teammate
Sofia Munoz. Senior
Stephanie White added an insurance goal for the Comets in the 69th minute, assisted by
Bailee Davis.
The Comets finished their fourth consecutive shutout victory with 12 shots, five of which were on frame. Junior
Keely Fillman accounted for more than half of the Comets' shots in the contest, ending with seven shots of her own, one of which was on target.
The 10 shots given up by Rhodes matched the season-high allowed by the Comets while sophomore keeper
Morgan Sherman finished with two saves.
