BELTON, TX (10.02.21) - The UT Dallas women's soccer team was limited to its fewest shots since the 2012 season as the Comets suffered their second straight defeat, a 1-0 loss at Mary Hardin-Baylor in ASC play Saturday night.
The Comets (8-3, 2-2 ASC) will look to snap its first two-game losing skid since 2017 Thursday as they return home to face defending ASC champion Hardin-Simmons. Game time is 5 p.m. at the UTD Soccer Field.
The host Cru struck early with only goal of the contest when Maria Rico scored in the ninth minute. The Comets' lone shot came in the 88th minute when
Sierra Foster's attempt at the equalizer was saved by the UMHB keeper. The last time UTD was held to just a single shot was on Sep. 15, 2021, a 2-0 loss at HSU.
