RICHARDSON, TX (10.09.21) - The UT Dallas women's soccer team was handed its fourth straight defeat Saturday night as the Comets dropped a 4-2 home decision to McMurry in ASC play.
The Comets (8-5, 2-4 ASC), currently sitting in eighth place in the conference standings with four games left to play, will look to snap the losing skid Thursday night with a 5 p.m. ASC road match at LeTourneau in Longview.
Stephanie Ward gave UTD a 1-0 lead late in the opening have as she tallied her fourth goal of the fall in the 34th thanks to an assist from the right by teammate Kaitlyn Manning. However, the visiting War Hawks event the match 21 seconds later with the equalizer by Ashlyn Pozorski.

McMurry regained the lead for good with an unassisted goal by Kate Holland, from the deep left. The War Hawks added a insurance goal on a penalty kick in the 76th minute.
Hussein led the Comets with four shots, three on goal, while
Sofia Munoz took three shots. The Comets closed the contest with 14 shots, five of which were on target. UTD keeper
Mariana Gonzalez made four saves.
