ABILENE, Texas - The UT Dallas women's volleyball won its sixth consecutive match by sweeping Hardin-Simmons 25-17, 25-16, 25-14 at the Mabee Complex Saturday afternoon.
The Comets (10-4, 7-1 ASC) cruised to the three-set win to remain in first in the American Southwest Conference standings. They dominated the third set by hitting .435 on 13 kills.
For the match, UTD hit a season-best .301 with 41 kills, five aces, five blocks and 52 digs. The Cowgirls (9-5, 4-4 ASC) hit .100 on 28 kills, one aces, four blocks and 45 digs.
UT Dallas Notes
- Senior right side
Catherine Croft recorded 10 kills with just one error, for a season-high .600 hitting percentage.
- Freshman right side
Gabi Engels hit .368 with nine kills.
- Senior outside hitter
Madison Ball recorded six kills and a team-high 14 digs.
- Senior middle blocker
Karle Lynd posted six kills and a pair of blocks.
- Freshman middle Lauren Johsnon added four kills and three blocks.

- Lauren Sullivan led the Cowgirls with eight kills and recorded eight digs.
