RICHARDSON, Texas - The UT Dallas women's soccer fell to Concordia Texas 3-1 in American Southwest Conference play at the UTD Soccer Complex Saturday night.
The Comets (6-5, 3-2 ASC) got on the board early when a 
Janae Shaklee corner kick was deflected into the back of the net by a Tornado (8-2-3, 6-0 ASC) just 2:24 into the game.
Emma Visser knotted the game for Concordia in the 17th minute on a pass from Patricia Heckendorn. The contest remained tied until the 66th minute when Heckendorn assisted an Alycia Beunaventura goal. The Tornados went up 3-1 1:29 later when Kallie Krenz scored on helper from Kaelyn Riley.
For the game, CTX outshot UTD 22-12 overall and 12-8 on goal.  Both teams took three corner kicks and the Comets led in fouls 8-7.
