UTD and LeTourneau Play to Scoreless Tie

RICHARDSON, Texas - The UT Dallas women's soccer team recorded its first tie of the season, battling LeTourneau to a 0-0 draw in American Southwest Conference play Thursday night at the UTD Soccer Complex.

The Comets (6-5-1, 3-2-1 ASC) outshot the YellowJackets (2-6-4, 0-4-2 ASC) 25-6 overall and 7-3 on goal. Both teams took three corner kicks and UTD led in fouls 7-4.

The shutout was the fifth of the season for UT Dallas. The backline of Skyler Rodrigue, Caitlin Malone, Peyton Guidry, Claire O'Sullivan and Skylar Williams limited the LETU offense to just six shots.

With three games left in the regular season, the Comets sit in fifth place with 10 points in the ASC. One more win would secure a spot in the six-team ASC Championship Tournament, beginning November 1.
