RICHARDSON, TX (02.12.22) - The UT Dallas women's basketball team honored four senior members of the squad Saturday afternoon after the Comets rolled to a 69-46 ASC home win over McMurry.
The Comets improved to 12-6 overall and remain in a tie for third place in the ASC standings at 11-4 with just two games left in the regular season. UTD will play its final home game of the season Tuesday when the Comets host LeTourneau in a 5:30 p.m. ASC contest. The Comets will then close the regular season Thursday, Feb. 17, at Ozarks.
Paris Kiser led all scorers with 13 points in the contest, hitting 3-of-8 three-pointers, in the victory.
Michaela Walker was the only other Comet to top double figures, closing out the contest with 11 points.

Jordan Rudd and
Blythe Williams each added seven points.Â
The visiting War Hawks (2-19, 1-14 ASC) scored the first two points of the contest, but that would be the only lead held by McMurry for the rest of the contest as UTD dominated the remainder of the opening half to take a 37-17 advantage into the locker room. The Comets would extend their lead to as many as 28 points midway through the fourth quarter when Rudd used a breakaway layup to push UTD to a 63-35 cushion.
Jefferson-Polk led the Comets with 10 rebounds as UTD held a 48-35 rebounding advantage in the game. Rudd dished out a game-high eight assists.
Jefferson-Polk, Rudd, Walker and
Madison Hill were recognized in a ceremony post-game for their contributions to the Comet program.
