AUSTIN, Texas - The UT Dallas volleyball team lost to Concordia Texas in five sets in American Southwest Conference action at the Concordia Fieldhouse Friday night.
The Comets (4-4, 1-1 ASC) went up two sets to one 25-19, 22-25, 25-19 before the Tornados (5-3, 1-1 ASC) finished off the night by taking the last two frames 21-25 and 12-15. UTD's best performance was the third set, in which they hit .265 with 13 kills.
The Comets hit .132 with 50 kills, four aces, nine blocks and 89 digs. Concordia hit .140 with 50 kills, nine aces, nine blocks and 81 digs.
UT Dallas Notes
- Senior outside hitter
Abby Jones hit a season-best .320 and tied her career-high with 19 kills. She also posted 15 digs.

Catherine Croft recorded eight kills with 11 digs and freshman
Gabi Engels posted eight kills and four blocks.

Rachel Baxter led all players with 23 digs.

Lauren Johnson had a season-best six blocks.

Concordia Texas Notes
- Kinsy Haschke led all players with 20 kills and hit .314 with 14 digs.
- Jennika Willis had nine kills and Sarah Ghormley posted eight kills and 14 digs.
- Setter Alyssa Legette recorded a double-double of 20 assists and 17 digs.
