SAN ANTONIO, Texas - UT Dallas senior Suzuka Nishino successfully defended her Intercollegiate Tennis Association Southwest Regional singles title, defeating Trinity Levy from host Trinity University on Sunday morning.

Nishino, who won easily 6-1, 6-1, will make a return trip to the ITA Cup in Rome, Ga. October 13-16. She was an All-American last season and advanced to second round of the NCAA Individual Championships in May.
