LONGVIEW, Texas - The UT Dallas women's basketball team earned a second consecutive American Southwest Conference road win, defeating LeTourneau 78-51 at Solheim Arena Saturday afternoon.
The host YellowJackets (6-10, 2-7 ASC) scored the first basket of the game, then the visiting Comets (10-6, 6-3 ASC) took the lead for good at the 7:26 mark of the first quarter. UTD went on to lead 37-23 at halftime and would by as many as 31 in the fourth period.
With the win, the Comets remain in a three-way tie for third place at the halfway mark of the ASC schedule.
For the game, UTD shot 37.8 percent (28-for-74) from the field, 8-of-22 from three-point range and 14-of-19 at the line. They also tied their season-best with 56 rebounds to go with 15 assists, five blocks, 10 steals and 15 turnovers.
LeTourneau shot just 24.6 percent (15-for-61) overall, 5-for-20 from outside and 16-for-25 at the line with 42 boards, five assists, four blocks, eight steals and 18 turnovers.

- Senior guard
Lauren Fulenwider went 5-for-7 from three-point territory en route to 15 points.

Trystan Clark came off the bench to score a career-high 13 points to go with five rebounds and three steals.
- Senior
Jordan Maxwell added 11 points and three assists. It was her fourth double-digit scoring performance.
- Sophomore
Cierra Trigg recorded seven points, five boards and a pair of steals.
- Junior guard
Blythe Williams pulled down a career-high 12 rebounds.
- Freshman center
Kyra Samuels added five points, six rebounds and three assists.
LeTourneau Notes
- Kylie Weeks led LETU with 15 points and recorded five rebounds.
- Ajanae Thomas had 14 points and two steals and Bailey Broughton scored 12.
- Haylee Jordan led all players with 16 rebounds.
