Game Recap: Women's Soccer |

UTD Remains Unbeaten with Late Goal

ROUND ROCK, Texas - A game-tying goal by Sierra Foster with 8:03 left in the game allowed the UT Dallas women's soccer team escape with a 1-1 draw against Concordia Texas at the Round Rock Multipurpose Complex Thursday night.

After a scoreless first half, the Tornados (1-5-7, 0-1-3 American Southwest Conference) made it 1-0 just 41 seconds into the second period. A kick downfield by Addi Taylor found Kaley Kasper who scored from the right side of the goal.

The game was knotted in the 82nd minute for the Comets (8-0-4, 1-0-2 ASC) after a collision in front of the keeper allowed the ball to come loose just to the right of center and Foster drilled it in.

With the tie, UTD remains unbeaten in 2023 and is tied for the second-longest such streak in program history at 12.

Concordia outshot UTD 16-9 overall and 10-8 on goal. Both teams had three corner kicks and the Comets had more fouls, 6-2.
