UTD Rallies for Sixth Consecutive Win

RICHARDSON, Texas - The UT Dallas men's soccer team won its sixth consecutive game, coming from behind to defeat Ozarks 3-1 in American Southwest Conference play at UTD Soccer Field Saturday night.

The visiting Eagles (5-5, 1-1 ASC) scored in the 41st minute when Erick Garcia and Rasto Rimbo assisted Luke Clingerman's goal.

The second half, however, belonged to the Comets (6-2-3, 2-0 ASC) starting with Riley O'Donnell's goal off a free kick in the 69th minute, which arched around the left side of Ozarks' wall. O'Donnell struck again in the 84th minute when he converted a penalty kick. Hamza Syed knocked in the final goal of the game in the 88th minute after a blast from keeper Michael Hesse that found Cole Morgan first.

UTD outshot Ozarks 18-8 overall and 8-2 on goal. The Comets also had more corner kicks (8-2) and fouls (14-12). Six total yellow cards were issued in the game.

UT Dallas Notes
- The Comets now lead the all-time series with the Eagles 23-3-6.
- O'Donnell recorded his sixth multiple-goal performance of his career. He also moved into 10th place on the Comet all-time points list with 61.
- Syed recorded his second goal of the year.
- Morgan and Hesse's assists were their second of the of the season each.
- Kayson Marriott, Josh Zemanski and Kaleem Shabout each played 90 minutes on the defensive line.

Ozarks Notes
- Caleb Anderson recorded five saves in goal.
- Schnyder Charles took three shots, one on goal.
- Harper Branch, Bailey Sawyer, Colin Cosby, Carlos Salinas and Kyle Seymour played all 90 minutes
