RICHARDSON, Texas - The UT Dallas baseball team was recipient of the American Southwest Conference Student-Athlete Advisory Committee Team Sportsmanship Award. 

ASC SAAC Team Sportsmanship Awards

The Comets, under head coach Shane Shewmake, won the award for the second time in program history, joining the 2010 squad.

Baseball is the sixth UTD sport to win the award in 2022-23, joining men's cross country, women's cross country, women's soccer, volleyball and men's basketball.

The ASC SAAC Team Sportsmanship award is presented for the 15th year during the 2022-23 season and honors the member institution in each ASC championship sport that best displays positive qualities of sportsmanship and fair play from its student-athletes, coaches and fans throughout the season.
