ABILENE, Texas - UT Dallas seniors Rebecca Jackson and Saumya Vedula were eliminated in the doubles Semifinal round of the ITA Southwest Regional Sunday..

The third-seeded Comet duo had won three matches earlier in the week before falling to #2 Cate Cushing and Trinity Levy of Trinity (Texas) 8-3. Jackson and Vedula made it the Quarterfinals of the 2022 tournament.

Other highlights from the weekend included Jackson making the Semifinals in singles, while junior Tisha Nakakes-Nguyen advanced to the consolation Semifinals. Juniors Elyssa Ducret and Megan Zeng made the Quarterfinals of the doubles draw.

The tournament wraps up the fall season for the Comet women.
