KERRVILLE, Texas - For the second time in three days, the UT Dallas women's soccer team posted a shutout, topping Schreiner 2-0 on the road Sunday afternoon.
Junior midfielder
Claire O'Sullivan opened the scoring for the Comets (2-0) in the 10th minute after a corner kick pass by
Sierra Foster.
Foster scored in the 48th minute on a penalty kick. The final goal came just 2:25 later when
Kaitlyn Futschik caused a Mountaineer (0-2) turnover, passed to
Sydney Geter and one-touched to
Kate Crowe, who dribbled and scored from the left side.
UTD outshot Schreiner 16-4 overall and 9-4 on goal. The Comets took two corners and led in fouls 5-4.

- The Comets have started the season with a pair of shutouts for the eighth time in program history and first since 2018.
- O'Sullivan's goal was the second of her career and first game-winner.
