RICHARDSON, Texas - The UT Dallas women's soccer team continued its unbeaten streak with a 2-1 victory against Sul Ross State on Saturday afternoon.

The Comets (7-0-3) found the net in the 23rd minute as sophomore Rylyn Reyes found freshman Brooke Crow in open space and scored after a sprint downfield.

The contest remained 1-0 until the 85th minute when senior defender Peyton Guidry drilled a penalty kick to give UTD an insurance goal. Just over a minute later, the Lobos (2-7) moved the deficit to one when Karina Gallegos scored off her own rebound.

SRSU managed two more shots in the final minute, but the home team held on for the victory.

The Lobos outshot the Comets 21-7 overall and 11-2 on goal. Sul Ross also led in corner kicks 5-1 and fouls 7-6.

- UTD improves to 7-1-1 all-time against SRSU.
- Crow's goal was the first of her career.
- Guidry converted her first PK attempt for the second career game-winner during her tenure.

- Deserie Herrera took nine shots, five on goal.
- Gallegos scored with four shots, three on goal.
- Brianan Cruz added two shots on goal and Victoria Vidaurre had one.
- Herrera, Gallegos, Sienna Ramirez, Daniela Ibarra and keeper Ellya Alvidrez logged all 90 minutes.
