RICHARDSON, Texas - The UT Dallas men's soccer team extended its unbeaten streak to nine games after defeating Mary Hardin-Baylor 1-0 at the UTD Soccer Field Saturday evening.
The Comets (9-1-2) scored the only goal of the game in the 44th minute when senior midfielder
Anton Van Efferink converted a penalty kick after a foul in the box.
The home team outshot the Cru (6-6-2) 14-3 overall and 8-1 on target. UTD also led in corner kicks 9-1.
UT Dallas Notes
- The game was the fifth shutout of the year for the Comets.
- Van Efferink's goal was his first of the year.
