RICHARDSON, Texas - The UT Dallas women's soccer team lost 2-0 to Howard Payne in its final home contest of the year at UTD Soccer Field Saturday night.

Before the game, the Comets (6-7-1) honored six seniors - Rylyn Reyes, Kaitlyn Futschik, Claire O'Sullivan, Faith Autery, Caitlin Malone and Jade Press.

The Lady Jackets (8-8-1) scored both goals in the first nine minutes of the game. Hannah Noel scored on passes from Regan Noel and Brenna Douthit in the eighth minute. Douthit found the net just a 1:19 later.

UTD outshot HPU 27-12 overall and 12-4 on target. 

UT Dallas Notes
- Freshman forward Jules Chavez took 10 shots, six on goal.
- O'Sullivan recorded a career-high five shots with two on goal.
- Reyes, Chelsea Vilca, Kaley Robison and Layla Rangel each had one shot on target.
- Press recorded a pair of saves.
- Vilca, Chavez, O'Sullivan, Robison and Amelia Griffin each logged 90 minutes.

Howard Payne Notes
- Keeper Landry Combs recorded 12 saves for the shutout.
- Noel's goal was her second of the season.
- Douthit posted her seventh goal fo the year.
