ABILENE, Texas - The UT Dallas men's soccer team erased a two-goal first half deficit and tied Hardin-Simmons 2-2 at the HSU Soccer Complex Saturday night.
The host Cowboys (6-3-2) struck first in the 16th minute with Thomas Saylae scoring on an assist from Jack Sissen. In the 36th minute, Sissen made the game 2-0 with a goal of his own.
Almost five minutes into the second period,
Riley O'Donnell's corner kick connected with
Julio De Los Reyes to make it 2-1. O'Donnell converted a penalty kick in the 72nd minute to knot it up.
The Comets (6-1-2) outshot the Cowboys 21-16 with both teams recording nine shots on goal. UTD had a 6-5 edge in corner kicks.
UT Dallas Notes
- O'Donnell now has a team-leading seven goals and three assists on the year and is 3-for-3 on PKs. He also moved into fourth place by himself on the UTD carer goals list with 35.
- De Los Reyes scored for the second time this season and fourth time in his career.

- Dylan Caudle, Edwin Macias, Winneker and Curry played 90 minutes.
