RICHARDSON, Texas - Three student-athletes from UT Dallas were named to the 2024 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Soccer Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, Tuesday.

To be eligible, a student-athlete must carry a 3.50 cumulative grade point average and play in 90 percent of their team's contests or start 50 percent of games.

Men's soccer players Kaleem Shabout and Julio De Los Reyes and women's soccer's Jade Press were selected to the Academic All-District Teams.

Shabout, a senior defender from Irving, Texas, started 15 games, logging 1,147 minutes at center back. He recorded three assists and helped contributed to seven shutouts. Shabout is majoring in Marketing.

De Los Reyes, a sophomore defender from Tomball, Texas, started all 16 minutes, playing 1,134 minutes at center back. He scored a pair of goals, with one game-winner and contributed to eight shutouts. De Los Reyes is majoring in Business Administration.

Press, a senior keeper from Lago Vista, Texas, played every minute of 16 games this season. She recorded 88 saves, a 1.31 goals against average and five shutouts. She ended her career tied for second in school history with 256 saves and fourth with 23 shutouts. Press is majoring in Computer Information Technology & Systems.
