LUBBOCK, Texas - The UT Dallas men's basketball team lost to future Lone Star Conference foe Lubbock Christian 108-73 at the Rip Griffin Center Tuesday night.

Rob Wade gave the Comets (3-4) a 20-19 lead at the 12:34 mark in the first half. The Chaparrals (4-3) finished the period by outscoring the visitors 38-20 to take a 17-point advantage into the break.
The UTD shot 57.1 percent (16-for-28) in the first half, including 6-for-11 at three-point range, but LCU finished at 65.6 percent (21-for-32) and 10-of-18 from outside.
The Chaps went on to outscore the Comets 51-33 in the second half.
UTD shot 50 percent (27-for-54) for the game, 9-of-22 from outside and 10-for-15 at the free throw line. They also had 25 rebounds, 11 assists, 13 turnovers and four steals.
LCU shot 61.7 percent (37-of-60) overall, 18-of-32 from three-point territory and 16-of-18 at the line with 30 boards, 22 assists, six turnovers, five blocks and nine steals.
UT Dallas Notes
- Senior guard
Nick Donnelly led the Comets with 19 points on 8-of-14 shooting and hitting a trio of three-pointers. This is his fifth game of the season in double-digit scoring.
- Freshman guard
Peyton Dulin scored a season-high 16 points with three assists and three rebounds.

- Freshman forward
Bryce Potts scored a season-best eight points on 4-of-5 shooting.
- Wade finished with six points, four rebounds and a pair of steals.
Lubbock Christian Notes
- Amondo Miller Jr. paced the Chaps with 22 points, six assists, two blocks and three steals.
- Ty Caswell went 6-for-9 from outside for 20 points and six rebounds.
- Sean Murphy added 19 points.
- Alex Anamekwe scored 12 points with three blocks.
- Aaron Gonzales chipped in nine points.
