EDMOND, Okla. - The UT Dallas men's basketball team lost 104-63 to NCAA Division II foe Central Oklahoma 104-63 at Hamilton Field House Sunday afternoon.
Outside of an early 3-3 tie, the host Bronchos (4-2) led the entire game as they shot 62.5 percent (35-of-56) from the field, 10-for-17 from outside and 24-of-28 at the free throw line. They also posted 30 rebounds, 20 assists, 10 turnovers, five blocks, 14 steals.Â
The Comets (3-5), missing their top two scorers, were held to 37.3 shooting (22-for-59) overall, 4-of-22 from three-point range and 15-of-21 at the charity stripe. They also recorded 33 rebounds, 11 assists, 22 turnovers, two blocks and four steals.
UT Dallas Notes
- Freshman guard
Peyton Dulin scored a team-best 13 points - his fifth double-digit performance of the season.
- Senior forward
Rob Wade recorded a season-high 10 points and six rebounds to go with a block and a steal.Â
- Sophomore
Jordan Balderaz came up with seven points and seven rebounds. He leads the team with 5.9 rebounds per game.
- Guard
Matthew Soto added six points and dished out three assists.
- Sophomore forward
Jaelyn Rivera netted a career-best six points, draining a pair of three-pointers.
- Junior guard
Everett Bates made a three-pointer and recorded a career-high three assists.
- Senior forward
Nnamdi Edeoga pulled down a career-best four rebounds.
Central Oklahoma Notes
- Israel Hart paced the Bronchos with 20 points and six assists while also coming up with five rebounds and two steals. He was 9-of-9 at the free throw line.
- Jacobi Sebock had 19 points, seven rebounds and three blocks.
- Parker Hannah added 18 points off the bench, making four three-pointers.
- Jordan Thompson had 11 points, four assists and six steals.
