CONWAY, Ark. - The UT Dallas men's basketball team ended the calendar year with a 94-70 victory against Hendrix at Grove Gymnasium Saturday afternoon.
The Comets (6-6) led the entire game, including a 40-37 advantage at halftime. They opened the second half with a 15-6 run to take control of the contest and would lead the host Warriors (2-10) by as many as 25.
UTD shot 44.9 percent (35-for-78) from the field, 9-for-38 from three-point range and 15-of-20 from the free throw line. They also recorded 53 rebounds, 20 assists, six turnovers, five blocks and seven steals.
Hendrix shot 44.2 percent (23-of-52) overall, 8-for-20 from outside and 16-of-24 at the line with 27 rebounds, 16 assists, 11 turnovers and three steals.
The Comets recorded season-high with 35 field goals made, 53 rebounds and 94 points while committing a season-low six turnovers.Â
UT Dallas Notes
- The Comets grabbed 27 offensive rebounds - tied for the third most in program history.
- Junior Center
Austin Page posted his third double-double of the season with 28 points and 11 rebounds. He was 11-of-13 shooting with two assists, three blocks and a steal.
- Senior guard
Nick Donnelly went 7-for-12 from three-point territory, en route to 23 points, which tied his career-best. He also had a career-high eight rebounds with three assists. Donnelly's seven threes made is tied for fifth in school history.
- Sophomore forward
Zach Spitzer had season-highs of 11 points and seven rebounds.

Peyton Dulin recorded nine points, five rebounds, six assists, two blocks and three steals.
- Sophomore
Jordan Balderaz added eight points.
- Forward
AJ Carter recorded seven points, five rebounds and three assists off the bench.
- The 38 three-pointers attempted is tied for second most in school history.
Hendrix Notes
- Beau Kroenenberger led the Warriors with 20 points and six rebounds. He was 5-for-10 from beyond the arc.
- Tyler Dithloff had 19 points and five boards.
- Carson Bower scored 12 points and dished out four assists.
