BELTON, Texas - The UT Dallas women's soccer fell to Mary Hardin-Baylor 2-1 at the Cru Soccer Field Saturday evening.
The host Cru (6-1-1) scored just 1:11 into the contest on a Natalie Mason goal. They would take a 2-0 lead in the 33rd minute with Allie Angell's goal assisted by Jayme Dowell.
The Comets (3-4) got on the board in the 64th minute off a corner kick that was deflected off a UMHB player's head and with the ball still in the air, freshman Alicia Aguiñaga it past the wall with her right foot.Â
UTD put pressure on Cru keeper Morgan Oliver with three shots, one on target in the final 25 minutes, but were held without another score.
For the game, UMHB outshot UTD 21-9 overall and 10-5 on goal. The Cru led in corner kicks 9-2.
