WICHITA FALLS, Texas - The UT Dallas women's tennis team lost to Southwest Baptist 7-0 at the MSU Tennis Center Monday afternoon.

The Bearcats (5-2) won all three of the doubles matches to take the first point. Jhastine Red Ballado and Elsha Valluru had the closest decision at number two, falling to Polina Paunova and Leticia Luiz 6-4. 

Sophomore Reika Nagai battled Paula Ballesteros, who is ranked 35th in NCAA Division II, to a 6-3, 6-4 loss at the top spot. In number four singles, Luiz defeated sophomore Kendall Curley 6-3, 6-4.

UTD will play again at Eckerd in St. Petersburg, Fla. on Tuesday, March 18.
