RICHARDSON, Texas - The UT Dallas women's tennis team lost to Ouachita Baptist 7-0 at the UTD Tennis Courts Thursday evening.

The Comets (2-6), playing with only five student-athletes, dropped the doubles point to the Tigers (6-6). OBU won 6-2 at number one and 6-1 in the second spot.

In singles, senior Megan Zeng lost to Sadbaroy Kholdarova, who is ranked #52 in NCAA Division II, 6-2, 6-3 in the top flight. Sophomore Elsha Valluru battled Alice Kubler to a 6-3, 6-3 loss at number two.

Senior Jhastine Red Ballado took Karli Gay to a third-set tiebreaker before falling 3-6, 6-4, 1-0 (10-7).

UTD will play at LeTourneau in Longview, Texas Saturday at 3 p.m.
