LONGVIEW, Texas - The UT Dallas women's tennis team earned a 7-0 sweep over LeTourneau at the Davis Tennis Complex Saturday afternoon.

The Comets (3-6) won each match-up against the YellowJackets (5-10), including all three doubles for the first point. 

Senior Megan Zeng and sophomore Reika Nagai won the top battle over Isa Casso and Elizabeth Moreau 6-4 and Elsha Valluru and Jhastine Red Ballado defeated Emma Boulanger and Maddie Nichol 6-2 in the second spot. Number three doubles was won by sophomore tandem Chloe O'Connor and Kendall Curley 6-1 against Kylie Weeks and Chloe Tesser.

Singles highlights included Zeng posting a clean sheet over Moreau at number two - 6-0, 6-0. Zeng now has 28 career singles victories in moves into a tie for 10th in UTD's career list.  

O'Connor defeated Weeks 6-2, 6-2 in the fifth spot and Ballado was also a 6-2, 6-2 winner at number six against Tesser.

The Comets will return to action on Saturday, April 5 for a 1 p.m. home match against Mary Hardin-Baylor.
