RICHARDSON, Texas – The University of Texas at Dallas Department of Athletics is proud to announce a new apparel partnership with New Balance, naming the global performance brand as the official supplier of apparel and uniforms for the Comets.

"We are thrilled to announce this partnership with New Balance," said UTD Director of Athletics Angela Marin. "Our tradition of excellence continues as we elevate our game with next-level apparel, uniforms and performance wear.  We are in a new era of greatness as we make the move to NCAA Division II, and we are proud to have New Balance by our side."

"At UT Dallas, we know The Future Demands Different, and our relationship with New Balance will be a difference-maker as we launch the Comets into NCAA Division II competition in the Lone Star Conference," said UTD Vice President for Administration and Chief of Staff Dr. Rafael Martin.

On July 1, UTD will officially join the Lone Star Conference and begin the second year of transition to NCAA Division II.
