RICHARDSON, Texas - The UT Dallas volleyball team opened Lone Star Conference action with a close, three-set loss to Oklahoma Christian at the UTD Activity Center Friday night. The Eagles (8-2, 1-0 LSC) topped the Comets (2-9, 0-1 LSC), playing in their inaugural LSC match, 25-20, 25-22, 25-23
First Set
- OC started strong, capitalizing on an early service error and attacking errors to build a 3-0 lead.
- UTD responded with a 5-0 run, taking advantage of multiple attack errors by Annie Davis to go ahead 8-5.
- Lauren Cary's consecutive service aces shifted momentum back to Oklahoma Christian, who reclaimed the lead at 14-12.
