TYLER, Texas - The UT Dallas women's tennis team finished the Intercollegiate Tennis Association South Central Regional Friday.

Highlights for the Comets included freshman Namrata Makhija reaching the third round of the singles A draw before being eliminated by 13th-seeded Camila Garcia Morales of Midwestern State.

St. Mary's #2 Selina Wu defeated freshman Grecia Idrogo in the second round of the consolation bracket.

In doubles, Katia Robinson teamed with Makhija to upset #2 Axelle Jacquemin and Andrea De Bernardo from Lubbock Christian 8-6. Robinson and Makhija put up a fight in the second round, falling to Jasmine Craine and Alessia Dolce of MSU 8-6.
