RICHARDSON, Texas - The UT Dallas men's basketball team won its third consecutive game, defeating Texas A&M International 68-42 in Lone Star Conference play at the Activity Center Saturday.
The Comets (4-10, 3-3 LSC) dominated the Dustdevils (5-10, 2-5 LSC) in the first half, leading 42-13 at the break. UTD shot 56.7 percent (17-of-30) from the field and held TAMIU to 15.4 percent (4-of-26) in the period.
The home team led by as many as 37 in the second half.
For the game, the Comets shot 45 percent (27-of-60) overall, 9-of-30 from three-point range and 5-of-9 at the free throw line. They also had 41 rebounds, 21 assists, 20 turnovers, eight blocks and 12 steals.
The Dustdevils shot 26.8 percent (15-of-56) from the field, 2-of-18 from outside and 10-of-15 at the line with 35 boards, eight assists, 20 turnovers, two blocks and 13 steals.
UT Dallas Performances
- Freshman center
Hudson Goellner led the Comets with 18 points to go with four rebounds, four assists, two blocks and two steals.
- Sophomore guard
Jaden Jefferson was 6-of-8 shooting for 15 points, four rebounds, two assists, three blocks and three steals.

Peyton Dulin recorded 10 points, four rebounds, five assists and two steals.
- Junior forward
Jordan Balderaz added seven points, four rebounds and three assists.

Bryce Potts had six points and five boards.

Kris White grabbed six rebounds and dished out three assists.

- Jamyier Patton led the Dustdevils with 10 points and three assists.
- Gaius M'Ella had six points, four rebounds and four steals.

- Peyton Gusters grabbed nine rebounds.
