RICHARDSON, Texas - The UT Dallas women's tennis team picked up another Lone Star Conference win, defeating Sul Ross State 7-0 at the UTD Tennis Courts Sunday night.

The Comets (5-7, 2-1 LSC) won all three doubles matches 6-0. Presley Churchman and Sheryl Gerald improved to 7-4 with their victory at number one. Juniors Reika Nagai and Elsha Valluru won in the second spot and Kendall Curley and Grecia Idrogo picked up the victory at three.

They also swept the Lobos (0-5, 0-3 LSC) in the five singles duels by the score of 6-0, 6-0. Nagai, Churchman, Gerald, Valluru and Idrogo each earned wins.

UTD will travel to Silver City, N.M. to face Western New Mexico on Friday in LSC action.
